Wines and references

Ad fines produces three wines, two cuvées,Domitilla and Caius and a second wine called Gracchus.

Several tastings by leading journalists, including Robert Parker, Bernard Burtschy, and other professional tastings have demonstrated the depth of Ad Fines wines and their ability to stand the test of time, the hallmark of exceptional wines.

Our wines also feature in some of the world’s finest Michelin-starred restaurants, including Pierre Gagnaire.

Reminiscent of a Côte-Rotie, the sublime Domitilla 2006 is a deep ruby/purple colour with a sweet nose of raspberry, blackcurrant and bacon fat, with a hint of lavender. This wine is ripe, opulent and round…

Domitilla

Domitilla
Domitilla is characterised by great aromatic finesse and is affordable from 3 to 4 years after bottling. Marked by notes of noble ageing in its youth (lightly toasted and fresh wood notes), it develops floral, black fruit and smoky notes characteristic of the great Serines, with a fine minerality.

Caius

Caius
Caius is a wine for laying down, requiring a little time to develop the noble austerity characteristic of great Cabernet Sauvignon, often 4 or 5 years after bottling. It has a deep, dark colour, with aromas of jammy black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry), toast and dried flowers.

Gracchus
Gracchus is a more accessible wine in its youth, with a fruity expression of plum, cocoa and black cherry, and a supple, easy, round palate with good ageing potential.
